JERSEY CITY -- The victim of a fatal shooting on West Side Avenue this weekend has been identified as a 25-year-old Bayonne man. Davon Gordon was shot multiple times in the torso at about 2:45 a.m. on Saturday near Fairview Avenue. He was taken to Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health, where he died at about 9:15 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Hudson Bergen Light Rail service has resumed in Downtown Jersey City after a tractor trailer collided with a train earlier this morning, NJ Transit said.
