Jersey City, beyond Downtown, is growing in appeal: report

The area's abundance of new housing and a relatively quick train ride into New York means Jersey City is shedding "its dingy image and emerging as a destination of choice," according to the ..

80 families without water after main break in Jersey City, SUEZ says
JERSEY CITY -- A water main break on Grace Street in the Heights has left dozens without water, SUEZ says.  The 8-inch break, which is between Central and Summit avenues, has disrupted services to 40 two-family homes.  The break was reported sometime around 2 p.m. and sent brown water flowing down the one-way street.  Crews are on the scene working to repair the break. No time frame as to when the break would be fixed was available; however, there isn't boil-water advisory in place, SUEZ said...

Which Gov. Christie will we find in Trenton now? | Quigley
"Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in." That's a line from Robert Frost's sad poem, "The Death of the Hired Man," but it must have been on the minds of plenty of people in Trenton last week.  Chris Christie is back home.
