    JERSEY CITY -- A dead whale surfaced in the Hudson River earlier today just off Caven Point in Jersey City, according to NBC New York. Earlier this evening, Jersey Journal photographer Reena Sibayan captured images of the whale, which was floating near a pier close to two boats.
