Man shot in the leg in Jersey City Saturday morning, official says
JERSEY CITY -- A 22-year-old man was shot once in the leg early Saturday morning on the south side of the city, officials said. The victim, an Arlington Avenue resident, was shot near Arlington and Bayview avenues at about 12:30 a.m., city spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said. He was brought to Jersey City Medical Center and his injury was considered non life-threatening, she said. The incident remains under investigation.
