JERSEY CITY -- Authorities are investigating an August incident caught on a security camera that shows a car driven by a Jersey City police officer striking a suspect. Video footage appears to show the driver of the car intentionally hitting the man, who remains on his feet and runs away from the vehicle, which continues after him. JERSEY CITY -- A three-alarm blaze started by an acetylene torch caused extensive damage to commercial garage on Center Street in Jersey City Thursday afternoon, city spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said.
