    Jersey City will launch a community court program this fall that focuses on alternative sentences that are aimed at reducing crime aiding the victim and getting help for the offender. The program, Jersey City Community Solutions, is being established in consultation with the Center for Court Innovation, an organization that works to create a more humane justice system.
