    JERSEY CITY -- A Jersey City man was sentenced to 18 years in prison today for the violent robbery of a woman in Hoboken, as well as a woman in Jersey City who he attempted to sexually assault. Alexander Demetroudis, 43, of Van Nostrand Avenue, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for first degree robbery and he must serve more than 15 years of that sentence before becoming eligible for parole.
