Jersey City to start snow removal plan starting tomorrow
Jersey City Mayor Steven M. Fulop, in coordination with the Office of Emergency Management, announced today that Jersey City will begin implementing a snow removal plan for the city's main thoroughfares and commercial districts that will have the snow removed from curb to curb following this weekend's historic blizzard. JERSEY CITY -- While the city has been focusing on clearing off secondary streets today, some residential streets are still packed with snow. JERSEY CITY -- Plows continue to make their way through Jersey City in the aftermath of Winter Storm Jonas, while city officials are offering first-hand help with cleanup.
