    Pedestrian struck early this morning in Jersey City
    A pedestrian crossing at 14th Street near Jersey Avenue early this morning was hit by a car and taken to the hospital, according to police reports. The driver, a 26-year-old Bayonne resident in a Toyota Corolla, was heading west on 14th Street from the Holland Tunnel toward the New Jersey Turnpike entrance this morning shortly before 3 a.m., according to the report.
