    Small fire extinguished at Jersey City post office
    Jersey City firefighters quickly extinguished an electrical fire at a West Side post office Tuesday, a city spokeswoman said. At about 4 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire in a rear room of the building between Union Street and Williams Avenue, spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said. When they arrived, they found the fire in the electrical ballast of the room. It took less than 20 minutes for the fire to be put out, Morrill said. No one was injured in the incident, Morrill said.
